Two hearts ensconced Upon the bench I remember— Forever etched Upon my mind Upon my soul Smooth ivory touch With fundamentals Of an ebon shade As demi-steps in dark Turned magnanimous rapture Of synchronistic souls In waves of Symphonic splendor We dreamed— Holding fast to Our affinity— Crescendo building Softly unveiling Transparent heart To tranquil eyes Passion carried us To new depths Of wonder Sincerity flowed And beauty surrounded— Fascinating our world While gentle rays of sunlight Subtly wavered— Into the daylight Awakening of peace Today is mine Now savoring tidbits Of moments— Of fingers Unlocking torn heart Within to find A healing home For a broken soul
