To New Depths

Two hearts ensconced
Upon the bench
I remember-
Forever etched
Upon my mind
Upon my soul

Smooth ivory touch
With fundamentals
Of an ebon shade
As demi-steps in dark
Turned magnanimous rapture
Of synchronistic souls

In waves of
Symphonic splendor
We dreamed-
Holding fast to
Our affinity-
Crescendo building

Softly unveiling
Transparent heart
To tranquil eyes
Passion carried us
To new depths
Of wonder

Sincerity flowed
And beauty surrounded-
Fascinating our world
While gentle rays of sunlight
Subtly wavered-
Into the daylight

Awakening of peace
Today is mine
Now savoring tidbits
Of moments-
Of fingers
Unlocking torn heart
Within to find
A healing home
For a broken soul
